What led you to join your Network?
When I first attended a CHEST Annual Meeting, I had the opportunity to meet other clinicians from around the country and connect over similar research interests. I took this opportunity to continue going back to CHEST and connecting with others around the year to enhance the care we provide for patients. It has been fun to engage our trainees in the organization since that time as well!

What achievements are you most proud of contributing to within your Network?
I am proud to present on a topic of my interest at the annual meeting, as it always brings up good questions and potential areas for future research.

How has being in a Network benefited your career and your experience as a CHEST member?
I have been able to build relationships with providers at my own institution and across the country, including both mentors and mentees. This is part of the backbone of a career in academic medicine.

What are your hobbies?
When I am not working, I love to be outdoors, particularly running, snowboarding, cycling—anything that gets me moving and out in nature!

What is something you cannot live without (after family and friends)?
Spending time outdoors.
