Where do you work, and what is your current position?
University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Director of Clinical Education and Associate Professor of Instruction.

What are your clinical and/or research interests?
Burnout in respiratory therapists.

What led you to join your Interest Group and become a Steering Committee member?
The desire to see respiratory therapists be involved in CHEST and collaborations.

What have you gained being involved in this Interest Group?
I've made new contacts, worked with like-minded people who have a passion for what they do, and made a difference/impact as a whole.

Who or what has inspired you in your journey in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine?
I am inspired by my mentors, colleagues, and students.

What activities or hobbies do you enjoy that might surprise your colleagues?
I enjoy softball in my spare time and spending time with my family.

What is something you cannot live without (after family and friends)?
Sleep. I love it when I can get it.
