Book Signing With Maria Smilios

Acclaimed writer and author, Maria Smilios, will sign copies of her award-winning book, "The Black Angels: The Untold Story of the Nurses Who Helped Cure Tuberculosis," which tells the extraordinary story of the Black nurses of Sea View hospital and their immeasurable contribution to curing tuberculosis.
2 pm - 2:15 pm ET | Join Smilios and Virginia Allen, one of the last surviving Black Angels, for a conversation about the working conditions at Sea View, the experience of the nurses, and the process of writing this book.
