Navigating Vaccine Hesitancy Through Relationship Building

Recorded: November 18, 2024

This webinar will equip clinicians with the tools needed to address vaccine hesitancy with their patients. Get an introduction to CHEST’s First 5 Minutes® (F5M) framework, a proven method to build trust with patients from the outset of the clinical encounter.

Through a combination of evidence-based strategies and case studies, participants will learn how to:

  • Utilize F5M tactics to foster open and empathetic conversations with patients who are hesitant about vaccines.
  • Understand common concerns surrounding vaccines, including misinformation and cultural barriers, and how to address them effectively.
  • Encourage vaccine uptake, particularly in patients with pulmonary comorbidities, who are at higher risk for serious illness from preventable infections like COVID-19, influenza, RSV, pertussis, and pneumococcal disease.

This activity is supported by an educational grant from Moderna.
