Objectives

The learner will achieve the desired course goal by participating in the following course learning objectives:

1. Describe risk factors, physical exam findings, and clinical situations associated with a difficult airway.


2. Classify the various types of equipment used in the management of the patient with a difficult airway.


3. Demonstrate effective management of the simulated patient with a difficult airway.
