Intended for clinicians with working knowledge of ultrasound theory and operation, this 2-day course will allow participants to:
- Practice image acquisition of the thorax and vascular structures.
- Interpret ultrasound images of the thorax and vascular structures.
- Demonstrate ultrasonography guided vascular access.
This course is specifically designed to help program directors train fellows in ultrasound guidance of pleural and vascular access, a recommendation recently made by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) for fellowship training programs. |
