Where do you work?
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

What are your research interests?
Lung cancer, lung nodules, pleural infection, and ultrasound.

What led you to join your Network?
I am passionate about interventional pulmonology and wanted to connect with other professionals eager to improve patient care.

What achievements are you most proud of contributing to within your Network?
I enjoyed contributing to updates at the annual meetings.

How has being in a Network benefited your career and your experience as a CHEST member?
Joining the Thoracic Oncology and Chest Procedures Network has connected me with people in my field of interest instead of just an impersonal group. Meeting diverse professionals with similar goals has helped me direct the early stages of my career and allowed me to help others pursuing the same interests.

What are your hobbies?
Language learning, reading, running, and rock climbing.

What is something you cannot live without (after family and friends)?
Good books and danceable music!

Is there anything else you’d like to share with your Network peers?
I count myself so fortunate to know so many wonderful people working hard to advance patient care. I hope I can have the chance to meet you at our next meeting, too!
