Mentor the next generation of medical educators

CHEST is partnering with the Association of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Program Directors (APCCMPD) to provide a Medical Educator Scholar Diversity Fellowship. The fellowship will provide support and funding for fellows who intend to pursue a career in medical education and significantly contribute to the diversity of the medical education community.

CHEST and APCCMPD are now accepting applications for mentors. This award is intended for individuals with a record of supervising and mentoring pulmonary and critical care medicine trainees who intend to pursue a career in medical education.

Information for CHEST faculty regarding VuMedi

CHEST is aware that a company, VuMedi, regularly reaches out to CHEST faculty and invites them to re-record sessions for distribution on their platform. VuMedi delivers video-based education to subscribers via its platform. Content for the platform is generated by mining conference programs and conducting outreach to presenters of sessions of interest.

CHEST does not have a formal or informal relationship with VuMedi, we do not endorse their platform or activities, and we have not authorized them to contact CHEST faculty or provided them with faculty contact information.

You are not prohibited from re-recording your session for another group. However, if you choose to record and distribute your presentation through VuMedi or another group, please refrain from using the CHEST template, branding, or including the meeting name in your titling or presentation.
